This recipe also works nicely for rabbit.

Rinse chicken in cool running water. Place chicken in crockpot. Pour the pineapple juice over the chicken, reserving the pineapple in the refrigerator to be served with the chicken later. Sprinkle the chicken with salt, garlic, ginger and paprika. Place lid on crockpot and cook on low 4-6 hours.

I like to serve this with the reserved cold pineapple, a hot soup and a salad from the garden.
