This is a basic meat stock made with the meat of a mammal (beef, bison, venison, lamb, chevon, elk, etc...). This can be used for soup, used in recipes calling for stock, or you may drink it as is.
Place all ingredients in crock pot and add water to cover by 2 inches. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Remove the meat and vegetables, saving the meat to be eaten and any bones to be used in broth. The vegetables may also be eaten, but I usually feed them to the chickens as they are quite well done. After it has cooled, package the stock into quart jars and place in the refrigerator.
When you are ready to eat/drink your stock, heat it on the stovetop.
